Faster bowlers than Shami in Indian T20 cricket

Mohammed Shami is more effective in the longest format. According to Australian veteran Ricky Ponting, the Indian T20 lineup has better quick bowlers.

In reaction to Mohammed Shami’s exclusion from the starting lineup for the Asia Cup. Australian cricketing legend Ricky Ponting believes Mohammed Shami to be the best in the longest format and that India’s T20 team has superior quick bowlers. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Avesh Khan, and Arshdeep Singh are the three professional fast bowlers that India has chosen. The fourth pacer on the 15-man roster is the all-arounder Hardik Pandya.

Shami has traditionally been a very, very capable bowler for India. Test cricket may be where he shines the brightest in terms of his skills. This claim was made in the most recent edition of The ICC Review by captain Ponting, a two-time World Cup champion.

For 20-over cricket, Shami is not India’s best fast bowler. They only selected three further candidates (for the Asia Cup). He could be the fourth player on the team if there are four potential players. When Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel both sustained injuries during the Asia Cup, many people speculated that Shami may be added to the team to split the new-ball responsibilities.

They’ll probably just send the four quicks to Australia, in my opinion. Even if the wickets are probably not very good, they’ll still want to bring a lot of spin, according to Ponting.

From August 27 to September 11, the Asia Cup will be played in Dubai and Sharjah, with Ponting picking India as the favourites to win.

Not just in the Asia Cup, but in any match, India is difficult to beat. But every time we discuss the upcoming T20 World Cup. I constantly have confidence that India will be in the epicenter of things.

“In my view, they will simply send the four quicks to Australia. Despite the probable poor quality of the wickets, Ponting predicted that they would still bring a lot of spin.

Ponting has chosen India as the favorite to win the Asia Cup, which will be played in Dubai and Sharjah from August 27 to September 11.

Any game against India, not just the Asia Cup, is difficult to win. When discussing the next T20 World Cup, though, it is always. I always have confidence that India will be the focal point of the situation.

I think India will win the Asia Cup because they have a lot more depth than the other teams do. The last bilateral series between India and Pakistan took place about ten years ago.

Ponting stated bluntly that “looking back the last 15 or 20 years, it’s one that we’ve been starving of.”

As a cricket enthusiast and watcher like myself, it’s virtually always exciting to see these types of confrontations because everything simply picks up, doesn’t it? As a result, in my opinion, the competition between Australia and England in Test matches has always been at its highest level. For those two nations, the real competition would be the apex of Test cricket. And I’m confident that both Indians and Pakistanis will concur on this. Ponting is certain that India can defeat Pakistan.

In that game, I’ll still be supporting India versus Pakistan. That doesn’t diminish Pakistan’s image as a fantastic cricketing nation that consistently produces athletes of the highest caliber.
