Mumbai landed at Stump’s at 248/1 on Day 1. The opening partnership between Prithvi Shaw, the captain, and Yashasvi Jaiswal totaled 87 runs before Shaw was dismissed for 47 by Anubhav Agarwal.
After Kumar Kartikeya had removed Armaan Jaffer for 26, Saransh Jain bowled out Suved Parkar for 18.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was the final wicket to fall, and Anubhav Agarwal had just taken his second wicket of the match.

Shams Mulani, who was batting alongside Sarfaraz Khan and had 12 at the end of the day’s play, was able to keep his cool and finished the day unbeaten on 40.
Mumbai is attempting to win their 42nd Ranji Trophy, whereas Madhya Pradesh has never done so.
