England’s stunning comeback in the day’s last session was greatly aided by Jonny Bairstow and Jamie Overton’s unbroken partnership for the seventh wicket.

To score his tenth Test century, Bairstow required just 95 balls (130 not out of 126). He had also scored a century in the previous Test at Nottingham.
