The Indian squad met in the dressing room to celebrate their victory over the West Indies in the ODI series.
The Shikhar Dhawan-led Indian cricket team crushed the West Indies in a three-match ODI series despite fielding a young lineup. Outstanding performances were given by Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Shubman Gill all at once. The team’s head coach, Rahul Dravid, was also beaming with happiness after the series victory. Gill was unfortunate not to reach his first century in the third ODI, but thanks to his brilliant 98, India overcame West Indies by 119 runs (D/L method). Shikhar Dhawan’s second half-century and Shubman Gill’s career-best performance helped India reach 225 for 3 in the final one-day international (58 off 74 balls).
The West Indies could only muster 137 in 26 overs in response to the revised DLS objective of 257 from 35 overs, largely because of Mohammed Siraj’s nearly flawless first over with the new ball (2/14 in 3 overs).

The third game offered a distinct challenge because it was possible that the rain break would have significantly changed the game’s flow. After the break, though, the game’s pace was altered by the skillful Shreyas Iyer (44 off 34 balls) and the elegant Gill.
India had scored 115 runs in 24 overs when the first break was called. When the game started, the visitors upped the ante and scored 110 runs in the following 12 overs, despite the fact that Gill appeared to be going for his first century.
The final scores after three games were 64, 43, and 98 not out. Gill wouldn’t be unhappy much, though.
