MS Dhoni Wants to Play at CSK Home Stadium in front of his Fans

When asked if he plans to return to the IPL next season, the former India captain. Who has led his country to world cup titles, stated he will for one simple reason: he wants to play in front of the Chennai fans once more.

“It’s for one simple reason: it would be unjust not to play in Chennai as a thank-you.” As a team and as an individual, I have received a great deal of affection and devotion in Mumbai. It would, however, be cruel to CSK fans.

“Hopefully, the teams will be able to go next year so that we can thank all of the different areas. Where we will be playing games at different stadiums,” Dhoni added.

He went on to remark that 2023 might not be the end of his IPL career.

“We can’t really anticipate something two years down the road, so whether this will be my final year or not is a major question,” Dhoni continued. “However, I’ll make every effort to return strong next year.”

It’s uncertain whether he’ll continue as CSK captain next year or step down, as he did this season. If CSK could find someone capable of guiding the team, this would be evident.
