But Shrivastava laughed and said, “I got married last year, and I haven’t even taken my wife on a 10-day vacation.”
Notably, Madhya Pradesh’s last Ranji Trophy final before 2022 took place all the way back in 1999.
Pandit was the captain at the time, and his team had been defeated by Karnataka. By happenstance, the stadium where MP won their first championship on Sunday also hosted the final from 23 years ago. It is the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
